Chef Jen Gomez
Chef Jen was truly born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She grew up in Schaumburg, IL with her parents, older sister, and younger brother. It was through growing up in an Italian and Swedish family who loves to eat and cook, high school cooking classes, and her first job in an Italian Restaurant where she developed a love for cooking. After graduating high school, she decided to move to Chicago and go to Culinary School.
Chef Jen graduated from Kendall College in 2010 while interning and working with The Entertaining Company, an up-market catering company in the West Loop neighborhood. Her professional culinary career began at The Peninsula Chicago in the Banquet Kitchen. She also spent some time working in the hotel's restaurant, Pierrot Gourmet. After two and a half years at The Peninsula, she took on her first Chef position at the luxury caterer, Boutique Bites. After two years with Boutique Bites, she spent some time working at her Alma Mater, Kendall College, as Chef of the Events Department.
Chef Jen noticed there was a great demand for in-home meal preparation by a professional Chef. People love great food, and having a busy schedule shouldn't mean that you have to sacrifice the quality of your daily meals. Chef Jen would LOVE to share her food with you and your loved ones. At the end of the day you should be able to sit back, relax, and eat deliciously!
